Netrio 1 of 5 checks
A large managed IT and security provider headquartered in McKinney, with network, voice and cloud work.
Netrio Overview
Netrio is a managed services provider headquartered in McKinney, with other offices in Minneapolis, Buffalo, New York City, Belfast and Pune. Its site says that in 2024 it joined forces with SUCCESS Computer Consulting and PCA Technology Group, and that in 2025 it acquired Agio, a New York City provider focused on financial services.
It says it serves over 1,000 clients and describes them as small to mid-market enterprises. The industries in its menu are private equity, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, nonprofit, hospitality and financial services. The pages we read name no chief executive.
What Netrio sells
The site groups its services into managed IT, cybersecurity, AI, cloud and infrastructure, network and communications, and software and automation. It presents itself as both MSP and MSSP, and says one provider for both removes "gaps, blind spots, and inefficiencies".
The cybersecurity pages list managed detection and response, SOC as a service, vulnerability scanning, vCISO leadership, penetration testing and incident response retainers. Compliance support is listed for SEC, GLBA, HIPAA, SOX and FFIEC requirements. Cloud pages cover Azure and AWS management and private cloud hosting on dedicated compute and storage.
Several lines go beyond a typical MSP. It sells AI advisory and implementation, workflow automation and API integration, custom application development, and technology diligence for mergers and acquisitions. It also runs its own client portal, NetrioNow, with dashboards, risk registers and audit trails.
The work it points to
Beyond the client count, the home page lists volume figures that run from 10,000+ to 250,000+ for support calls, managed assets, incidents, circuits and network alarms. It says its NOC and SOC operate 24/7/365 and are geo-redundant. It also points to a Netrio survey, described as a Censuswide survey of 401 mid-market enterprise IT leaders.
The pages we read name no individual clients, though the menu links to case studies. We have not spoken to any of those clients.
How it says it charges
It publishes no prices. The pages we read do not describe a billing model, plan tiers or contract terms. Contact is through a consultation request.
What its site does not tell you
On the 12 pages we read, the site gives no prices, no response time commitments, no contract terms and no headcount. It claims an "industry-leading customer retention rate" without a figure. It names frameworks it works to, such as NIST and ISO, but we found no certifications held by the company itself.
The site speaks to mid-market buyers across several countries, so ask what is delivered from Texas. All of this is worth raising before you sign.

Netrio Services
What those services mean, and what to ask
Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.
What an MSP isProtection, detection and response: endpoint software, email filtering, firewalls and someone watching the alerts. Many providers resell a specialist for monitoring, so ask who actually does the work and who calls you at night.
Cybersecurity basicsLicensing, administration, security settings and migration for cloud platforms. The platform keeps the service running; backing up your data in it and securing the accounts is still somebody's job, so ask whose.
Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365Hosted or on-premises telephony carried over your data network. Voice is the first thing to suffer on a congested link, so ask how calls are prioritized.

Industries
Rules that come with those sectors
Naming a sector is not evidence that a provider meets its rules. These are the ones that commonly apply in the United States, and what to ask about each.
- Manufacturing
- Manufacturers in the defense supply chain are assessed under CMMC. If that is you, ask whether the provider has taken a client through it.
- Retail
- Anyone taking card payments has to meet PCI DSS. Ask which parts of the card environment the provider would manage.
- Healthcare
- A provider with access to patient data is a business associate under HIPAA. Ask for a signed business associate agreement before it touches your systems.
- Financial services
- Firms covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act must keep a written information security program. Ask what the provider contributes to it and what evidence it can give an examiner.

Questions to Ask Netrio
Chosen from what this record shows and what it does not. The general list for any provider is in the IT buyer's guide.
- What exactly is included in the monthly fee, and what is billed separately: onboarding, projects, on-site visits?
- We have no published pricing on record for Netrio. Ask for the price per user or per device, the minimum, and the contract length, in writing.
- What are the response and resolution times by priority, and what happens when they are missed?
- Which certifications and partner tiers does the company hold? We have confirmed none with an issuer yet, so check each one in the issuer's own directory.
- Can you speak to two clients of your size who have been with the company for more than a year? We have not reached any of its clients.
- It names Private equity, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Nonprofit, Hospitality and Financial services. If your sector is not among them, ask for a client in it.
- Backup is not among the services it puts first. Ask how your data is backed up, where, and when a restore was last tested.
- Who holds the administrator credentials and the documentation, and how are they handed over if you leave?

The overview. Written by us from 12 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 17, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.
Note on the record. No founding year is given here because the sources disagree: the register charter is 2015, the Channel Partner Directory says 2003, and Clutch lists the company as formerly PCA Technology Group, founded 1989. The site says Netrio joined with SUCCESS Computer Consulting and PCA Technology Group in 2024 and acquired Agio in 2025, and lists offices in Minnesota, New York, Belfast and Pune as well as McKinney.
