Cloudavize Overview

Founded2019

Cloudavize is a Dallas managed IT provider that says it has operated since 2019. Its site names Cody Sukosky as founder, owner and lead IT consultant, and its team page profiles more than a dozen staff by name and role. It says it serves small to mid-sized and mid-market businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

The industries it lists are accounting, legal, commercial real estate, education, financial firms, oil and gas, construction, engineering, non-profit and property management.

What Cloudavize sells

The core offer is managed IT sold in three plans, with help desk and remote support, monitoring, asset management and virtual CIO consulting. Around it the site lists cybersecurity, IT compliance work, managed backup and disaster recovery, network support, and cloud services on Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS.

The backup page says data is stored with AWS and Microsoft Azure, encrypted at rest and in transfer. The compliance page is careful to say its alignment services "do not constitute certification or guarantee audit outcomes".

Less common items include a Microsoft Teams phone practice, network and fiber optic cabling, and AI and automation consulting.

The work it points to

The site shows customer reviews, most of them praising Cody and the team for fast responses. They are signed by individuals, and most do not name a business.

The founder's profile says he has helped hundreds of small and midsize companies and holds twelve IT certifications, from partners including Microsoft and Cisco. We have not spoken to any of those clients.

How it says it charges

Cloudavize publishes prices. Its monthly plans are Essentials at $75 per user, Standard at $85 per user and Premium at $100 per user. The page says to add 1 user for each location or server, limits each user to 2 devices, and promises no onboarding fees or lock-in contracts.

Add-ons are priced: endpoint protection with EDR at $6 per device, DNS filtering at $3.50 per computer, a password manager at $5 per user, managed EDR at $8.99 per user, managed ITDR at $4.80 per user, and cloud backup at $50 per server plus $ 0.10 per GB.

The page adds that a formal quote follows a discovery meeting. Hourly rates for out of scope work sit on a separate page we did not read.

What its site does not tell you

On the 12 pages we read, the plans list "Guaranteed Response Times" but give no figures for them. The site refers to awards and certifications for the company without naming any in the text. It does not say how much notice ends a plan.

None of that is unusual for a small provider's website, and all of it is worth asking about before you sign.

What those services mean, and what to ask

Managed ITCloudavize lists: Managed IT

Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.

What an MSP is
Cloud and Microsoft 365Cloudavize lists: Cloud services

Licensing, administration, security settings and migration for cloud platforms. The platform keeps the service running; backing up your data in it and securing the accounts is still somebody's job, so ask whose.

Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365
CybersecurityCloudavize lists: Cybersecurity

Protection, detection and response: endpoint software, email filtering, firewalls and someone watching the alerts. Many providers resell a specialist for monitoring, so ask who actually does the work and who calls you at night.

Cybersecurity basics
Backup and disaster recoveryCloudavize lists: Backup and disaster recovery

Copies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.

Backup and disaster recovery
NetworkingCloudavize lists: Network support

Switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi and the internet connection: design, installation and upkeep. Ask who holds the administrator passwords to your own equipment.

Rules that come with those sectors

Naming a sector is not evidence that a provider meets its rules. These are the ones that commonly apply in the United States, and what to ask about each.

Accounting
Tax and accounting firms fall under the FTC Safeguards Rule, and the IRS expects a written information security plan. Ask how the provider supports yours.
Legal
Lawyers have a professional duty to make reasonable efforts to protect client information, under ABA Model Rule 1.6 and its state versions. Ask how client files and email are secured.

Questions to Ask Cloudavize

Chosen from what this record shows and what it does not. The general list for any provider is in the IT buyer's guide.

  • What exactly is included in the monthly fee, and what is billed separately: onboarding, projects, on-site visits?
  • What are the response and resolution times by priority, and what happens when they are missed?
  • Which certifications and partner tiers does the company hold? We have confirmed none with an issuer yet, so check each one in the issuer's own directory.
  • Can you speak to two clients of your size who have been with the company for more than a year? We have not reached any of its clients.
  • It names Accounting, Legal, Commercial real estate, Construction, Engineering, Oil and gas and Nonprofit. If your sector is not among them, ask for a client in it.
  • Who holds the administrator credentials and the documentation, and how are they handed over if you leave?

Where This Record Comes From

The overview. Written by us from 12 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 17, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.

Note on the record. The charter, the company site and BBB all put the start in 2019. The addresses do not agree, which is why the address check is open.

How do I get a quote from Cloudavize?

No. A listing is free and starts with the registration check. A company pays a flat referral fee only when a quote request is sent to it, the same fee for every company, so it cannot buy a position.
