Flexnet Networks 2 of 5 checks
Managed infrastructure, security and cloud for Permian Basin energy and field service firms.
Flexnet Networks Overview
Flexnet Networks is a managed IT company with offices in Midland, Texas, and in Tampa and Ocala, Florida. Its home page says it has been serving Texas and Florida since 2010.
No owner or executive is named on the pages we saw. It says its deepest experience is in the Permian Basin energy sector, and it also lists construction, professional services, logistics and field service firms.
What Flexnet Networks sells
The site groups its work into six services it calls the Flexnet Strategic Platform: managed infrastructure, cybersecurity and risk management, backup and disaster recovery, AI readiness and automation, Microsoft 365 and cloud modernization, and vCIO planning with a 12 to 24 month roadmap.
Managed infrastructure covers the helpdesk, networks, VoIP, servers, workstations, user accounts and vendor coordination. It starts with what the company calls a 65-point onboarding, a documented review of every device, license, warranty and configuration. The site says it can run IT end to end or work alongside internal staff.
The security pages describe five layers: network, endpoint, identity, email and data. They list endpoint detection and response, SIEM monitoring, phishing simulation, credential monitoring, and documentation aligned to PCI, HIPAA and the FTC Safeguards Rule. It says formal audits are run by qualified assessors, not by Flexnet.
The backup pages stress scheduled recovery tests and an independent Microsoft 365 backup.
The AI service is less common in this directory. It covers Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, permission reviews and AI usage policies.
The work it points to
Its case study page names three clients: Longhorn Tubular Services, an energy services firm in West Texas, the law firm Cotton Bledsoe Tighe & Dawson, and Performance Chemical Company. The summaries give no figures. The law firm's IT manager, Joe Hernandez, is quoted saying the firm picked Flexnet for the long term.
The home page also shows a set of Google reviews with a 5.0 rating. We have not spoken to any of those clients.
How it says it charges
The contact page names three ways to buy: Premium FLEX, Lite FLEX and Flex project engagements. It links to a feature comparison that was not among the pages we read. It publishes no prices on those pages.
What its site does not tell you
On the 11 pages we read, the site gives no prices, no response times, no contract terms and no headcount. It names no certifications held by the company or its staff. The helpdesk text says you "reach a live person, not a queue", with no time attached.
None of that is unusual for a small provider's website, and all of it is worth asking about before you sign.

Flexnet Networks Services
What those services mean, and what to ask
Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.
What an MSP isProtection, detection and response: endpoint software, email filtering, firewalls and someone watching the alerts. Many providers resell a specialist for monitoring, so ask who actually does the work and who calls you at night.
Cybersecurity basicsCopies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.
Backup and disaster recoveryLicensing, administration, security settings and migration for cloud platforms. The platform keeps the service running; backing up your data in it and securing the accounts is still somebody's job, so ask whose.
Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365A named person who plans budgets, replacements and projects with you. Ask how often you meet and what the written roadmap contains.
