7tech 1 of 5 checks
Managed IT and security from its own operations center, with a published price list, headquartered in San Antonio.
7tech Overview
7tech is a San Antonio managed IT and security provider. It trades under that name and files as Juern Technology, LLC, which its own acceptable use policy states.
Its site says the company began in March 2012 as a one-person shop founded by Neal Juern, and took the 7tech name in July 2023 after eleven years as Juern Technology. It names Texas manufacturers, construction firms and nonprofits as its clients, and says it works best with 25 to 600 workstations. It lists two offices, San Antonio and Austin.
What 7tech sells
The core is managed IT with unlimited support, sold in three published tiers, alongside managed security. The site describes a service desk, employee onboarding and offboarding, and onsite service where the tier includes it.
Security is the part it puts first. It says it runs its own Security Operations Center staffed by its own people rather than a third party, with SIEM monitoring and a layered approach of prevention, detection and response.
Compliance is a named line of work. The site offers CMMC readiness for defense contractors, including a gap analysis and support through a third-party assessment, and names NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 7012 behind it. It also names HIPAA and the FTC Safeguards Rule. Around those sit Microsoft 365 work, cloud backup and network projects.
The work it points to
Its pages carry named client testimonials, including a compliance director at an insurance agency and a project manager describing CMMC work. It states it supports more than 80 businesses and over 3,000 end users.
It publishes 2025 figures of 94 percent client retention and 97.4 percent customer satisfaction, a 20 minute average response, and 80 percent of tickets closed the same day. Those are its own numbers, with no method and no third party behind them. We have not spoken to any of those clients.
How it says it charges
7tech is one of the few companies here that publishes a price list: three tiers per user per month, Total IT Essentials at $96, Total IT Unlimited at $129 and Security Plus at $179. It says all three include unlimited support, and that coverage hours, onsite service and security depth are what change.
It states what the price excludes: third-party licensing at cost, CMMC consulting scoped separately, and mobile device management billed per license plus a fee. There is a 25 workstation minimum and a stated 60 day money-back guarantee.
It also says where it sits. It writes that fully managed IT in San Antonio runs $100 to $200 per user per month, and that its two upper tiers sit in the upper half of that range.
What its site does not tell you
Across the 12 pages read here, it names no certification held by a named engineer and no vendor partner level, although it calls its team credentialed. Contract length is never stated, which matters beside a published monthly price, and neither is the notice period.
The performance figures are worth asking about directly: what counts as a response, what the sample was, and who measured the satisfaction score.

7tech Services
What those services mean, and what to ask
Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.
What an MSP isProtection, detection and response: endpoint software, email filtering, firewalls and someone watching the alerts. Many providers resell a specialist for monitoring, so ask who actually does the work and who calls you at night.
Cybersecurity basicsHelp meeting a security standard or a regulator's rules. Ask which frameworks the provider has taken clients through, and what evidence it produces for an auditor.
Security frameworksLicensing, administration, security settings and migration for cloud platforms. The platform keeps the service running; backing up your data in it and securing the accounts is still somebody's job, so ask whose.
Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365Copies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.
Backup and disaster recoverySwitches, firewalls, Wi-Fi and the internet connection: design, installation and upkeep. Ask who holds the administrator passwords to your own equipment.

Rules that come with those sectors
Naming a sector is not evidence that a provider meets its rules. These are the ones that commonly apply in the United States, and what to ask about each.
- Manufacturing
- Manufacturers in the defense supply chain are assessed under CMMC. If that is you, ask whether the provider has taken a client through it.

The overview. Written by us from 12 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 23, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.
Note on the record. The trading name resolves to Juern Technology, LLC through the company's own acceptable use policy, and that entity is active in the Texas register at the San Antonio street its contact page gives. The seat on file was the Austin serviced-office floor and is now San Antonio. Still outstanding: an answered phone, a certification confirmed with its issuer, and a client reference, none of which can be done from published material.
