UniVista Overview

Founded1998

UniVista calls itself a managed IT solutions provider located in Austin, and its contact page gives an office in Pflugerville. The site is brief, four pages in all, and gives no founding year or owner's name. It speaks of "decades of IT experience" and says it is a BBB Accredited Business.

It says it supports clients nationwide with local staff, and names Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock and the rest of Central Texas. Its solutions page addresses banks and credit unions, law firms, engineering firms, manufacturers, local governments and law enforcement entities.

What UniVista sells

The site lists a 24x7 service desk, on-site repair and support, remote support and training, network security, cloud computing, remote storage, hosted email security and archiving, disaster recovery planning and IT assessments. It says each support agreement includes an on-site component and staff training.

The sector detail is what stands out. For financial institutions it describes preparation for regulatory technology audits and third-party penetration tests. For engineering firms it cites experience with Autodesk and Bentley products. For local government it cites experience with Tyler Tech's products, and says its entire staff has cleared CJIS security requirements.

For law enforcement it says it supports Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management Systems. It lists itself as an authorized partner for Cisco, Dell, HP, Microsoft, SonicWall, Veeam and VMware, among others.

The work it points to

The about page carries two signed testimonials, one from a design manager at Tom Green & Company Engineers and one from the president of LCRA Credit Union. We have not spoken to any of those clients.

How it says it charges

UniVista says its support agreements are based on a monthly fee so that clients can budget IT costs annually. Its cloud offering is described as one flat fee per month with upgrades included. It says 24x7 support is included in many of its standard agreements. It publishes no prices.

What its site does not tell you

On the 4 pages we read, the site gives no prices, response times or contract terms, and does not say how many people work there. It describes its engineers and service desk staff as certified without naming the certifications. It mentions guaranteed email uptime without stating the terms.

None of that is unusual for a small provider's website, and all of it is worth asking about before you sign.

What those services mean, and what to ask

Managed ITUniVista lists: Managed IT

Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.

What an MSP is
Backup and disaster recoveryUniVista lists: Disaster recovery planning

Copies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.

Backup and disaster recovery
Monitoring and patchingUniVista lists: Network monitoring

Every device watched and updated through a remote management tool, so problems are found before users report them. Ask for the patching schedule and a sample of the monthly report.

What RMM is

The services, industries and description above are what UniVista publishes about itself. They were read from its own website on September 8, 2026 and transcribed rather than verified. What we checked is further down.

Questions to Ask UniVista

Chosen from what this record shows and what it does not. The general list for any provider is in the IT buyer's guide.

  • What exactly is included in the monthly fee, and what is billed separately: onboarding, projects, on-site visits?
  • We have no published pricing on record for UniVista. Ask for the price per user or per device, the minimum, and the contract length, in writing.
  • What are the response and resolution times by priority, and what happens when they are missed?
  • Which certifications and partner tiers does the company hold? We have confirmed none with an issuer yet, so check each one in the issuer's own directory.
  • Can you speak to two clients of your size who have been with the company for more than a year? We have not reached any of its clients.
  • Cybersecurity is not among the services it puts first. Ask who handles security monitoring and response, and whether that work is subcontracted.
  • Who holds the administrator credentials and the documentation, and how are they handed over if you leave?

Where This Record Comes From

The overview. Written by us from 4 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 17, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.

Note on the record. The best corroborated address in this set: the company own contact page and the state register carry the same street address, character for character. Two things to settle before listing. The office is in Pflugerville rather than Austin, and the SOS status code on the register reads R rather than A while the right to transact business is active.

It publishes no industry list and no client examples. That is how the company describes itself; we transcribed it from its website and did not verify it.

How much does UniVista charge?

We have no published pricing on record for it, and we do not estimate prices. Request a quote and ask for the price per user, the minimum and the contract length in writing.

How do I get a quote from UniVista?

Use the quote button on this page. A request sent from here goes to this company alone. To compare it with others, the general form sends one request to up to three listed companies that cover your area. Both are free and commit you to nothing.

How do I contact UniVista directly?

By phone on (866) 832-6209. Its website is univista.com. From the check record: The site is live and publishes a toll-free number, (866) 832-6209, rather than a local one. Nobody has called it. Checked 2026-09-08.

Did UniVista pay to be listed here?

No. A listing is free and starts with the registration check. A company pays a flat referral fee only when a quote request is sent to it, the same fee for every company, so it cannot buy a position.
