TechProComp Overview

Founded2017

TechProComp is a managed IT provider with its headquarters in Austin and further offices in Houston and San Antonio. Its site names Slobodan Krsmanovic as founder and says he stays personally involved in client relationships. It gives no founding year, though it cites 25+ years of experience.

The site is specific about who it wants as a client. It says it works with companies of up to 250 employees and roughly $6M to $250M in revenue, in construction, engineering, manufacturing, finance and professional services. It tells firms with one to five staff who need occasional break-fix help to look elsewhere.

What TechProComp sells

The core service is managed IT for a flat monthly fee: helpdesk, 24/7 monitoring, backup and recovery, network services, disaster recovery and a virtual CIO. The home page describes a three-year roadmap broken into twelve quarters, built from a free assessment. It also sells co-managed IT that works alongside a client's internal IT staff.

Security is sold around what it calls a 12-layer security framework. Its FAQ says the layers include cloud firewall, endpoint detection, LAN Zero Trust, ransomware protection and SIEM monitoring. Separate pages cover firewall as a service, a managed SOC, and compliance as a service for HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST and CMMC.

The cloud pages describe management of Azure and AWS environments, including cost reduction and security configuration. The site says it holds SOC 2 certification, verified March 2026, and is now pursuing SOC 2 Type II.

The work it points to

The case study page names MLA Geotechnical, Miro, Salient Systems, Alegion, Feniex Industries and Austin Retina Associates. For Miro it says it designed, built and now manages the network of a 65,000 square foot hub in downtown Austin. For Alegion, which it calls a 110-person AI software company, it says it built the IT and security foundation.

The home page carries testimonials from named businesses and a Clutch panel showing 4.9 from 8 reviews. It also states 97% client retention and 96% same-day resolution. We have not spoken to any of those clients.

How it says it charges

TechProComp says it uses flat-fee pricing with month-to-month contracts, no onboarding fee and no cancellation penalty. It states a 3-hour guaranteed response for every issue and says onboarding typically takes 2-3 weeks. Its home page says it is not the cheapest provider in Texas. It publishes no prices.

What its site does not tell you

On the 12 pages we read, the site gives no prices and does not say how many people work there. It calls itself award-winning, but the text we saved names no awards. The 3-hour response guarantee comes without terms, such as what happens if it is missed. Claims like "Block 99.9% of attacks before impact" come without a source.

None of that is unusual for a provider's website, and all of it is worth asking about before you sign.

What those services mean, and what to ask

Managed ITTechProComp lists: Managed IT

Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.

What an MSP is
Co-managed ITTechProComp lists: Co-managed IT

The provider works alongside your own IT staff, taking the monitoring, tooling, out-of-hours cover or projects they have no time for. It depends on a written line between what each team owns.

IT outsourcing models
CybersecurityTechProComp lists: Managed SOC

Protection, detection and response: endpoint software, email filtering, firewalls and someone watching the alerts. Many providers resell a specialist for monitoring, so ask who actually does the work and who calls you at night.

Cybersecurity basics
ComplianceTechProComp lists: Compliance as a service

Help meeting a security standard or a regulator's rules. Ask which frameworks the provider has taken clients through, and what evidence it produces for an auditor.

Security frameworks
vCIO and IT planningTechProComp lists: Virtual CIO

A named person who plans budgets, replacements and projects with you. Ask how often you meet and what the written roadmap contains.

What a vCIO is
Backup and disaster recoveryTechProComp lists: Backup and disaster recovery

Copies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.

Rules that come with those sectors

Naming a sector is not evidence that a provider meets its rules. These are the ones that commonly apply in the United States, and what to ask about each.

Manufacturing
Manufacturers in the defense supply chain are assessed under CMMC. If that is you, ask whether the provider has taken a client through it.
Finance
Firms covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act must keep a written information security program. Ask what the provider contributes to it and what evidence it can give an examiner.
Healthcare
A provider with access to patient data is a business associate under HIPAA. Ask for a signed business associate agreement before it touches your systems.

Questions to Ask TechProComp

Chosen from what this record shows and what it does not. The general list for any provider is in the IT buyer's guide.

  • What exactly is included in the monthly fee, and what is billed separately: onboarding, projects, on-site visits?
  • We have no published pricing on record for TechProComp. Ask for the price per user or per device, the minimum, and the contract length, in writing.
  • What are the response and resolution times by priority, and what happens when they are missed?
  • Which certifications and partner tiers does the company hold? We have confirmed none with an issuer yet, so check each one in the issuer's own directory.
  • Can you speak to two clients of your size who have been with the company for more than a year? We have not reached any of its clients.
  • It names Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Professional services, Healthcare, Private equity and Real estate. If your sector is not among them, ask for a client in it.
  • It names co-managed IT. If you have internal staff, ask where the line between the two teams sits, in writing.
  • Who holds the administrator credentials and the documentation, and how are they handed over if you leave?

Where This Record Comes From

The overview. Written by us from 12 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 17, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.

Note on the record. The Austin office address is inside the city limits while the entity is chartered in Round Rock, so the metro-or-city-limits question this row raised earlier resolves in favor of listing it: the office people would visit is in Austin.

We have no published pricing on record for it, and we do not estimate prices. Request a quote and ask for the price per user, the minimum and the contract length in writing.

How do I get a quote from TechProComp?

Use the quote button on this page. A request sent from here goes to this company alone. To compare it with others, the general form sends one request to up to three listed companies that cover your area. Both are free and commit you to nothing.

No. A listing is free and starts with the registration check. A company pays a flat referral fee only when a quote request is sent to it, the same fee for every company, so it cannot buy a position.
