Quick Compute Overview

Founded2002

Quick Compute is an IT services company in Harlingen serving the Rio Grande Valley. Its site names Holly Fullingim as chief executive. It says she founded the Computer Training Center in Harlingen in 1998, and that the company incorporated as Quick Compute, Inc. in 2004 as its focus moved to IT services.

The home page says the company specializes in medical and dental practices, and in businesses with a remote workforce, custom line of business software or operations in the cloud.

What Quick Compute sells

The site lists four services: managed services, data backup and recovery, virtualization and computer repair. The managed service is described as round-the-clock monitoring for a flat-rate fee. The company calls this program Velocity Services and says it introduced it in 2005.

The backup page describes copying domain and server information to a dissimilar server off site. The site also says the company handles hardware and software, vendor relationships, renewals, project management, and HIPAA and PCI compliance measures.

Less usual is QuickBooks work. The site says the chief executive has provided QuickBooks training and consulting with local accounting firms since 2003 and holds a Certified ProAdvisor certification.

The work it points to

The site carries long, signed testimonials, several from medical and dental practices. They include Blue Sky Pediatric Home Health, The Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation, Valley International Cold Storage, Culligan Water of the RGV, the Harlingen Irrigation District and Edwards Furniture.

One client describes a refresh of 45 computers and 5 servers with about 3 hours of interruption. Edwards Furniture says it has relied on the company for over 20 years. Several say plainly that it is not the cheapest option. We have not spoken to any of those clients.

How it says it charges

Quick Compute says all its services are billed at a flat rate rather than by the hour, in custom packages, and that the fee does not rise when the network is down or a server fails. It says on-site visits never cost extra.

It advertises a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and its about page says that if it cannot deliver on its promises, "we'll refund that month's fee". It publishes no prices.

What its site does not tell you

On the 8 pages we read, the site gives no prices, no contract terms and no count of the people who work there. It states one response time: emergency response is "one hour or less guaranteed".

The certifications it names belong to the chief executive, including Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert. It says it has HIPAA certified staff without naming them. None of that is unusual for a small provider's website, and all of it is worth asking about before you sign.

What those services mean, and what to ask

Managed ITQuick Compute lists: Managed services

Ongoing responsibility for your systems for a recurring fee: monitoring, patching, support and planning. Ask exactly which devices, users and sites the fee covers, and what is billed on top.

What an MSP is
Monitoring and patchingQuick Compute lists: Monitoring

Every device watched and updated through a remote management tool, so problems are found before users report them. Ask for the patching schedule and a sample of the monthly report.

What RMM is
Backup and disaster recoveryQuick Compute lists: Backup and recovery

Copies of your data kept where the original's problems cannot reach, and a plan for bringing systems back. Ask how often a restore is tested and how long a full recovery takes.

Backup and disaster recovery
VirtualizationQuick Compute lists: Virtualization

Running many servers or desktops on shared hardware. Ask where the virtual machines are backed up and what happens when a host fails.

Virtualization basics
Help desk and supportQuick Compute lists: Computer repair

The number your staff call. Ask for the hours, the response time by priority, whether the people answering are the provider's own staff, and what an on-site visit costs.

Questions to Ask Quick Compute

Chosen from what this record shows and what it does not. The general list for any provider is in the IT buyer's guide.

  • What exactly is included in the monthly fee, and what is billed separately: onboarding, projects, on-site visits?
  • We have no published pricing on record for Quick Compute. Ask for the price per user or per device, the minimum, and the contract length, in writing.
  • What are the response and resolution times by priority, and what happens when they are missed?
  • Which certifications and partner tiers does the company hold? We have confirmed none with an issuer yet, so check each one in the issuer's own directory.
  • Can you speak to two clients of your size who have been with the company for more than a year? We have not reached any of its clients.
  • It names Healthcare and Dental. If your sector is not among them, ask for a client in it.
  • Cybersecurity is not among the services it puts first. Ask who handles security monitoring and response, and whether that work is subcontracted.
  • Who holds the administrator credentials and the documentation, and how are they handed over if you leave?

Where This Record Comes From

The overview. Written by us from 8 pages of the company's own website, each read in full on Sep 17, 2026. It reports what the site says and what it leaves out. It is not a review, and nothing in it has been verified beyond the five checks.

Note on the record. BBB and the charter agree on 2002-12-04. The company site states no founding year for the business itself; it says its owner founded a computer training center in Harlingen in 1998 and that its Velocity network management platform arrived in 2005. There is no separate cybersecurity service page; the site mentions security software and HIPAA compliance work inside its managed offering.
